Fans would like to think that they are the ones the Star remembers.

Well written story, a tad, as you said, embarrassing, but interesting.

Should make an interesting entry into this contest.

What a nice tale to share. I'm a Navy brat and SD was home port for us. This probably gave me a one-up on the enjoyment scale as I had an historical relationship with your setting. Beyond that you wrote an enjoyable story about how sometimes a person is overtaken by some sort of silliness. Good job.

Very well written. Clear, concise, easily readable. (no mean feat).
I can ony imagine the thrill of meeting Tom Cruise - you ARE lucky.
I admire your constraint. I would have gone for the lips!! lol

I love the memory, and I see no reason you should be embarrassed. I love your description of the group, and how Tom stood out.

If only I liked Tom Cruise.

He's beautiful, even now. Perfect body. Perfect face. And, yes, those teeth are perfect, too.

But he's a nutjob, LOL. Never watch his movies. I saw the first Mission Impossible, but I refuse to put any money in his pocket, as silly as he might seem, because of the way this perfectly formed person is so imperfect when it comes to the way he treats women.

Good story.

Hi Marla; yes, it is a good memory - but, I totally see your point about Tom. I stopped my one-sided love affair with him when he left Nicole Kidman, and my attitude still hasn't changed much,

What a wonderful story Patty. I can actually visualise your expression when you realised what you did.

You have also shared the beauty of North Island which adds to the romance of the episode.

Best of luck in the contest

hugs

Freda

Lol, fun story! Now, why is it when I do this to women, they call for security, lol. Thanks for sharing your memory with us. Best of luck in the contest.

Take care,

I'm sure he would remember that, Patty, lol, I can imagine your face afterwards. But, how many girls can say they actually met him and, even better, say they kissed his hand? I bet loads of girls, and grown women envied you. Wonderful story, my friend. Good luck! :) Sandra xx

I loved this so much. It reminded me of myself and this terrible weakness I have for the British star David Tennant. If I'd been in a similar situation as the one you describe here, and it was David Tennant... yes, I'd have kissed him senseless, I think.

I may have been married, but I wasn't blind. ~ this one made me chuckle...

What a fun memory. I'm sure he was approached by dozens of women every day unless he could find places to avoid them. Must be hard being that famous.
