Hi Bill, as I understand it, your bad dream became reality and that's quite scary actually. It's a very well written poem and I liked the way you told a story within. All the best. Ulla:))

Thanks, Ulla. Rod Serling used to host the early Twilight Zone episodes. One of his frequent themes was the ndless repetion; a sort of hell scenario. Tha's why the last stanza is the sad as the first. Happy day.

Hi Bill. That image is really weird, BUT the perfect companion to your well-rhymed poem. Were you dreaming or not dreaming? Deja vu all over again. A fun write and you included your parents. "Imagine, if you will--" exactly Rod Serling's signature words. Marilyn

Well. I would say, 'Turn this car around!' ha ha. No way. The dream was creepy, strange enough...but for it to become reality?? Great job here....I miss Rod Serling!!! Blessings...

What a fun poem. I loved the imagery used and the part where they had to dress in mole suits. Comical. Thank you for sharing and best wishes. N.B

What an amusing story in this poem. I loved the rhyme, it was excellent. Very creative.

I wonder what he thought when he woke up and saw the park for real? Hopefully, he won't have to put on a mole suit. LOL

I put Rod Serling in there because he liked the idea of the an endless cycle of events.

Da-da-da, da-da-da. Eerie, no? Talk about a bizarre dream, that is definitely one of the strangest yet. I have no love for moles so I hope I will never have a strange dream/nightmare like that ever. I will wager that you were probably reluctant to go back to sleep.

This was the way to end this as I wasn't sure where to go with it.

Wearing that suit, even at an amusement park, would be, as Rod Serling said, a kind of perdition and not a very pleasant one at that.

Touch of humor thrown into this well written poem for good measure.

Fortunately, this was not your destiny.
