we own our body,we own our mind. once this is taken away from us we have no imagination of what to do or how it feels. once our freedom is taken away from what we own we go into a shock state of mind of what to do next. your poem was express with pain and anger. thanks for the read. "your so vein" means mood or humor.

The rape of anyone, male or female is so wrong that there are not words to describe the horror. There are two things that should belong to an individual for all of their lives. The right to do with their bodies and the sanctity of their mind and execution of their will. To have someone, anyone take away the will to not have your innocence ripped away from you, the desire to not have your body invaded against your will is a terrible violation of human freedom. This poem is very well done, it incites me to a deep anger for the perpetrator and sympathy for the victim.

This very well written and powerful poem moved me. Such descriptive words to explain what a victim of rape goes through when it happens to them, and what they continue to endure throughout their life. I agree that too many criminals go free too easily, laws should be changed to bring justice and peace to the victims.

A very powerful message on the eternal injustice of an innocent young victim's life being monstrously stripped away before it had even begun, while the perpetrator's life goes on unchanged and unpunished. I really liked the entire poem, but especially the lines "you left me in the world dark and cold, no chance of freedom growing old". We know this happens, but even more chilling when you find out it has happened to someone you know. Thank you so much for sharing.

This hit me hard because of my experiences of being raped at seven and drugged and raped twice in my adult life. These monsters are sick and need full castration so that they cannot commit their sick crimes again. Because prison cannot reform them, they will do it again and again. They are birn sick in the mind. A great poem kind regards Meia x

I had similar thoughts and sentiments regarding those who are sex perpetrators, I guess this is your meaning. Although the poem, carefully expressed is a bit eliptical. They are often caught and are confined for the duration
of their lives to a smaller life space than normal people.
