This is hilarious! I love this story and your sense of humor. Your poem ahs a tone of reality to it. I am sure that somewhere in the world this exact situation did occur and it played out exactly the same way. At least the decision to never go back there was a wise one unless you returned to apologize but I guess the black eye was satisfaction enough for the waitress. Great entry.
