No picture but it is probably my computer. Sad because the poem is about the picture so I will just imagine pearls and write about the poem. I have always loved pearls, You have written a proper Rondelet Patty. I can relate to the message, I would love to have just one string of pearls. LOL. Well done. Nancy

A gorgeous phot of a pretty girl holding a pearl necklace. It complements your poem very well. It is a Rondelet. Perfectly written in this form of poetry. Best wishes for the challenge.

Hi Patty. Aren't pearls luxurious? I can see why she is captivated by them. I enjoyed reading your take on the image for this post. Nicely composed Rondelet. Presentation is classy, befitting the topic. I selected the same. Marilyn

Diamonds are a woman's best Friend
So it has been said
For this woman, it seems to be pearls
From all over the world
***
This is very well written with a good flow of words, making for a very good read.

A very good example of a rondelet, a difficult style. Pearls are created when a minor irritant is smoothed over and becomes a beautiful jewel. Much like minor squabbles can be worked out and become a thing of beauty.

Well she's truly a lady, not alone there. I love pearls too because there's something timeless but still mysterious about pearls. I often wonder how that irritated little creature squirmed around all the grittiness on its smooth sensitive skin, over heavens know how many months and years, to finally turn the irritation into one smooth beautiful piece!

Good poem. I love pearls, too. Good illustration.
Did you mean that it is the same word or it's supposed to be a rhyming word? Cause pearl is used a lot. I know it's a poem about pearls, though. :)

Hi; it is the exact same line in whole, repeated several times. I had to do an edit of line four - I messed up the pattern,
