A very interesting situation for Jenny, but I'm glad she's resolved to go ahead and have the baby, even though it quite definitely complicates, and Ron's, if he comes to the party. I know God has plans for every little one that enters this world, it be interesting to see the results of something that joins two people irrevocably together, whatever solution they decide, well done, Patty. Blessings, Roy

I vividly remember the wait for the pregnancy tests to produce a result.

Poor Jenny must have been absolutely terrified. Nothing could really distract her from the outcome. She showed amazing bravery in calling Ron immediately

Hi Freda; thank you for continuing to read along with the saga. 'Jenny' was terrified and it was scary for me, too.

I'm working on the next chapter right now, and I hope to have it up on Sunday,

Watching the door close behind the man she had once loved with all her heart absolutely destroyed her. She let the tears begin to flow and emotions ran through her body. As the adrenaline dissolved, she felt herself going limp. She crumpled to the floor and released her sadness, anger, shame, and feelings of loss.
A good cry would usually help, but all Jenny felt was nauseous. Running to the bathroom, she felt everything she'd eaten that day come up and out. Lying on the floor with her head against the cold porcelain of the toilet, she realized it was over.'
I have quoted all of this because I have been here and it really ruined me for every other relationship because I will never trust again. I too fell pregnant in the same situation....the stress of his leaving (for his native Australia, no less!) with vague mumbles about coming back for me someday, caused a miscarriage while I was confined to a mental hospital. I gave birth to the dead baby alone and this brought it all back. Only a wonderful writer can do this. And you have written an absolutely amazing and believable story well done kindest regards Meia xx

Oh Meia; I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Living through it with the real Jenny was hard to watch.

I'm grateful that I was able to portray the story well, but I feel bad that it brought up bad memories for you,

All this angst over a misunderstanding that Ron should have cleared up immediately. He may be too stupid to be a good dad and husband. LOL! :)

I liked your description of the pregnancy test. It's so different from the really simple ones you can buy nowadays.
As usual, you leave us with a cliffhanger: I'm looking forward to reading about Ron's reaction.
Thanks for sharing another chapter.

Patty! :) ,

I knew she was pregnant! I hope everything works out; I can't wait to find out -- but I will, it's more fun that way. :)

I didn't find anything to correct, so thumbs up. Have a great weekend. :)

I smell trouble. If Patty has to work up the courage to tell Ron that she's pregnant, she might as well give up the fight now. I don't think Ron's reaction is going to be one of joy.

This is getting very exciting now. I couldbn't help thinking of Marie and Roman in my story, even if the stories are two completely different ones.

I look forward to the next chapter.

Good afternoon, Patty

Excellent continuation. You have certainly placed your character in a position regarding whether to tell Ron or at least for awhile. The hope she''s feeling that a child will bring them together usually doesn't work . . .but we'll have to wait . . .

Take care and stay safe,

Ray
