Hi, Patty. This was a powerfully charged emotional chapter. The reader can feel Jenny's anger, and she has driven herself beyond reason.

Poor Ron! He hasn't got a leg to stand on. Now his anger has risen too.

There is a fine line between love and hate. These two have clearly crossed it.

she hissed as she knocked the flowers to the floor. -- that was very ungracious behaviour.

It's sad, but these sort of things probably happen. She should have at least listened to him first.

I have a whole different view of Ron and Jenny on the section. Ron, who has a step-sister named Veronica that his mother does not know about, uses to make sweet Jenny jealous. Jenny believes he is sleeping with Veronica. Ron's behavior is shameful for a man. He sleeps with Jenny and knows that she adores him. He abuses his situation by showing that he really does not care about her feelings.

This is a well-written chapter.
In relationships, when one hurts the other, whether intentionally or accidental, they usually don't know how to handle the situation. Flowers, balloons and candy won't erase the fact that one has cheated on you or hide the scar from a black eye.
'When Love Turns to Hate' is a good title for this chapter.
I once loved someone but their actions made me hate him, or at least hate his ways.
Thanks for sharing.

Your chapter title fits this chapter so perfectly. They had loved each other more than they had ever loved anyone else, but at the end all they had left for each other was hate or at least that's what they told themselves. This chapter has really good dialogue. Good job!

You did a great job with a touchy subject. I believe Ron really wanted to explain, but his pride got in the way as did Jenny's in allowing/listening to him.

These two would have never made it regardless. Anger that could turn to rage, jealousy and no allowing an explanation.
Neither one of them are mature enough to try to understand why this or that occurred. They would be fighting all the time.
They are better off apart. Nancy

I think this is worse because they do both love each other, but, I'm afraid out of the two, Ron is the one to blame for all this. Had he gone after her when she found him on the sofa with his half sister and explained, or even introduced her there and then, this would never have happened. It's sad to see lovers fight that way and you did a good job describing the emotions and thoughts that a couple go through when there is a fight like that. It's too bad they could not have better communication, maybe they could have saved their love. We will see what happens next.
