To myself this is about personal perception. Do we live or do we die. Do we see the light or only the dark. What a lovely piece and yes, it is about our choices.
"And so, we choose our daily bread
from dark to light and in between.
Sometimes a single goss'mer thread
will hold our lives in peace serene."
Yes. I understand.

This poem, Choices, I a delightful display of weather's awesome effects which mirror life's challenges and trials. The glimmer of sun always reminds us of the good things that exist as well. Really liked your work here.

Enjoyed this spiritual poem. Both the literal physical descriptions and the allegory were beautiful. I especially liked the description of the apricot sky and the angry shards of lightning. And all is better in the end, Great job.

I enjoyed this beautiful poem. It has great rhythm and flow, and the imagery is particularly evocative. I love fiery skies and storms and you really captured that here. Thanks for sharing and have a really great day

The color scheme is appealing and the words in stanzas portray the poet's feelings about storms...
We have the most powerful, scary storms in the Midwest...

This is great. The rhyme is sensational and the imagery simply superb.
I really think this poem should be an entry in the next poem of the month competition.

Great wording. Send this my way. From my front window, I can see
rain pouring, pounding every hill.
The storm is raging right toward me --
it gives my frightened heart a chill.

Excellent rhyme and rhythm here. Your terse descriptive words describe the scene of a possible storm heading your way or a clearing about to take place. You use it well as a metaphor of life. Choices are ours to make, whether good or bad.
Nice poem.
