Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

Cancer is such a terrible life-sucking disease. With as much money that has been raised and poured into research, one would think they would have found a cure a couple times over and moved on to some other life-threatening issue.

You didn't give an age for Iris but I could tell she was at least at an all-knowing age of the seriousness of her diagnosis. I hope and pray she made it and is living a full happy life. If that didn't happen, I know with all my heart she is smiling with the angels. That is the warmth I felt in reading this dialogue.

In real life, Iris was four when this happened. In the book, if I remember correctly, she's 11. This is based on her experience, but it's fiction and many details have been changed.
If you look at the bottom of the page, you'll see a video of my beautiful girl now.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

A very well-written heartfelt poem. She was a very brave little girl to go through all the pain and trauma at such a young age and could still make a joke in a terrible situation where other kids will definitely start to panic.
