Love... true love, has away of sorting out any and all problems, unfortunately it does take time sometimes. He will learn from his mistakes if he gets that sought after second chance and prioritize her above all others.

Excellent

A great story about the broken love between Ron and Jenny and how he attempts to get her back. Flowers and phone calls did not work. What's needed is a face-to-face. I love how you describe the state of Ron's mind. You open with him sitting on the dock of the bay and reflecting upon his one serious relationship he screwed up. Will his plan to make up with Jenny work? We will have to see.

I didn't need to know all of the story. The section you conveyed was as up-to-date as I needed. Romances are hard enough without a non-helpful third arty getting in the middle. Nice writing. Am I right that these young folks are on board a ship? May be the photo suggested that location to me.

Exceptional

It seems to me that Ron's loyalty to his mother is somewhat confusing. It turns out that he was being obedient to his father when he should have been thinking about his own love life. Maybe Ron was not mature enough for Jenny. Obviously, she was just not that into him but gave him a chance hoping she would develop a strong feeling for him. Now, that he is older with more experience, he misses what he could have had. Poor Ron.

I think it's cool that finally he actually loves someone. And because he truly loves Jenny he has to get her back, but he can't. She won't answer his phone calls or anything. The last chapter of your book that I read made me feel bad for Jenny, now I feel bad for Ron. I love how you ended it. He finally knew how to get her to listen to him. Keep up the good work!

Oh yes! Love has its ups and downs and Ron appears to be on the down side. I love the build up to the upcoming confrontation. I'm sure there's a twist coming very soon. Great job on this set-up chapter!

You do a good job of getting the reader into your characters head. You make the reader want your characters to want and feel their pain with the smoothness of your writing that sucks the reader in. Ron was sure patient with Jenny, waiting and waiting.. Ron is a good man. Hope his fate turns out in his favour.
