This is a cute balloon poem. I've definitely been there! I'm so glad my children can now blow up their own balloons. Thank you for sharing, and best of luck in the contest! :)

Loved your balloon poem. Succinctly details the process of preparing balloons with beautiful rhymes and steady rhythm. And then the twist of so many more to go, reality check! Image well complements the wording. Cheers :)

This speaks how one is absorbed, committed to celebrate a party, deeply breathing and blowing and expanding the blue balloons as marks for grand organisation; I liked.

A lovely photo of a balloon. You are blowing very hard but it escapes from your hand. Next time goes better. You just have to blow up fifty more. This might be a good entry for the contest.

LOL! How well I remember those days of getting ready for a children's party or sometimes even an adult celebration. Blowing up balloons is an art-form. The words of your poem make it seem as though you got the hang of it. Well done and good luck in the contest,

I liked this poem. I thought it was very clever.
The description of the balloon escaping, made it very easy to picture.
I also like the ending fifty more to go...almost like a rinse lather and repeat.
I did get a chuckle from this because it is very relatable.

Again, very clever.
