Good morning, Patty

How did I miss the prior post before or am I showing the first signs of Alzheimer's? You've captured the spectrum of emotions Jenny's experiencing due to the break up. The support given her by her co-workers is spot on. Enjoyed.

Take care and stay safe,

Ray

Hi Ray; no - you don't have Alzheimers! the problem lies in how I posted part of the end for the contest, 'The Call,' and then started to post the other parts - SO SORRY. More to come, next we will hear from Ron,

Patty,
This is a great addition to your story. Those women in Jenny's workplace sound like a bunch of old biddies except Patty.

Your story has good flow, it read well, & ended at a perfect place. Yes, she is pregnant--that's why she was sick.

with for the first time in almost ever [never--I have never heard it said the way it is written, but I am not sure]

Looking forward to the next chapter. Jan

Oh-oh, no birth control is fool-proof. Will she take him back, even for a little while, or is she done with him for good? Ron sounds like a guy who'd be a terrible father.

Thanks for continuing with the story! I'm so glad you reconnected with your friend to tell her story. I'm also glad that the other women have become more compassionate!
One minor spag:
"Her mood complimented the grey walls " (complemented)

I must have somehow missed the breaking, it seemed so sudden, and the reasoning has probably escaped me also. But grief comes in many, and for manifold reasons. But there is always a similarity in the emotional parting of the ways, death being the ultimate! I wonder if she really so pregnant, as if Sh didn't have a clue, that would complicate the situation! Well written and described Patty, blessings, Roy

OK, the hook is sunk and we need to know if she's pregnant or not>>> so get back to those hot keys and fire up the next version! I cannot offer any suggestions besides, perhaps any photos of the team working on this serious matter. Best of luck and I'll be waiting! HIS GRAYNESS

Poor Jenny, I wonder how many girls thought that there was no way they could fall pregnant.

Given that the pregnancy continued, I am counting on the fact that her fellow workers stood by her to the end of term.

Looking forward to more chapters

hugs

Hi, Patty

= Ooooh, great end hook, leaving us to wonder if he'll come out and try to make nice.
= Too bad, just when she tired getting back on her feet and got to lunch with the gals, he shows up. Ugh.
= Great chapter.

This is a very good part of the story. I know I missed a part or two in there, but I am enjoying the story, though I feel so bad for Jenny.

Oh, this was a good read! Jenny and Ron have broken up. She goes out with the girls and sees Ron sitting alone at the bar. She rushes outside and pukes. Her feelings are sure getting to her. Emotions are running high--BUT is she pregnant?
