This 5-7-5, Ocean Fun, has the right set up and finds us on the surf during the friendliest time to catch a wave. The summer ripples allow everyone to be a surfer for a while.

I like this poem.
I could relate to this poem. Looking at the picture and reading the words brought back a lot of memories. The sounds of waves crashing, the smell of salt air and the sea gulls chirping.
I grew up on the beach and being out under the sun and in the ocean the perfect day.

There is no greater holiday for the WHOLE family than a day on the beach.
You set the scene well, focusing on the breakers and surf.
Excellent use of S-alliteration and consonance to give us the SOUND of the sea and create a joyful mood.
