This well-presented verse describes this beautiful flower well:
Wild field trillium
bursts into three white petals
And then, the last line appears to give praise to its creator which is reflected within the three, pure white, perfect petals:

VERY good. Every word used is necessary, perfectly explaining the name for the flower. Lovely thought. Lovely flower. and good info. I wasn't aware of that.
I know in Georgia, where I grew up, we had dogwood trees, and the marks on each flower depicted the stations of the cross - the blood of Christ.
Good 5-7-5. and good luck in the contest.

Wow, you really "got" my intention here. I am so thrilled you saw the connection between the "the blood of Christ" and this simple little piece. The trillium is a wild flower in the Northwest. I can't tell you how much this "exceptional" means to me, as the reviewing on this site has become "trite" for a lack of a better word.
