Great poem, easy to read, great theme, beautiful picture. I where a trinity cross, so naturally I associated it with the trinity, I don't know if that's what you meant. Great form and definitely a contender. Good luck.

I was after the Holy Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. But then again i am lapsed Catholic. Thank you for the insightful review.

I love trilliums. :-) I'm used to seeing maroon ones. Very nice five seven five poem in the classic haiku form flows well and creates a strong mental picture. Excellent use of artwork and colors. Great job!

This 5-7-5, Wild Trinity, has the proper setup and represents well those who would find Christian symbolism in all aspects of nature. White, trinity, and a promise of a new beginning are seen in its petals. Nice.

Those are so lovely! I always enjoyed seeing them in the wild when hiking but could never get them to grow in my garden. Yes, the three-petaled flower could be symbolic of the Trinity.

Hello, my friend,
Good flower choice... it's unique and beautiful. The satori relates to catholic religion and the three petals of the flower... very clever. The presentation is simple but nice...I like it.

I am glad you like it, but the satori line applies to many religions not just Catholic. None the less, I appreciate the review.

This is a very well thought out, well composed 5-7-5 for the Flower Contest, Anonymous Poet.
Unlike haiku, 5-7-5 poetry is not required to include a kigo, and may use capitalization for any words necessary.
The Holy Trinity; i.e., The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, signifies purity as displayed in the whiteness of the three petals of the flower itself.
Nice work.

Charming! Sweet! Inspired. Love the imagery, tone and tenor, phonetics (especially consonance of L in the first line and of T in all three lines and alliteration of W as well. Bravo.
Clever satori in simile style. I like your verb choice of BURSTS...so vivacious!
Lovely presentation too.
Fine 5-7-5 style. Good luck in the contest.
Warmly, rd

Dear Mystery Poet,
It's funny, but trillium are rarely mentioned in poems, at least as far as I have seen. They are a lovely flower, and actually they create the name of my own local Haiku Group! Therefore, I do like the subject matter of your poem. Taking it a step further with your comparison to the Trinity makes me like it even more! *smile* Good luck in the contest!
