Hi Patty, this is a great Etheree, and you've done very well. More often than not that is the cycles of love. Why do we embark on the whole process again once burnt? That's a question I sometimes ask myself. I liked it a lot and it made me think. All best. Ulla:))

Dear patty, Wonderful double reversed etheree! Good contrast of love and hate. Etheree poems always make me read the lines slowly - I like counting the syllables and the thoughts of the writer make me think deeply about what the poet is conveying. Dove

This double, reversed Etheree, Good Love Gone Wrong, has he format correctly established. It then lives out the title in the building of a relationship in the ironically descending poetic format. This followed by the loss of a love as the words broaden to the end of both. Neat.

Very comprehensible writing which fulfills the topic as requested. A good love turned bad. You have worded it very well and clear.
Good combination of your poem and the artwork chosen to enhance the messae of the poem: the heart is put on ice.

Well don!

Kind regards

Sarah

Your etheree poem works really well - starting
with romance and love, only to part and feel
the pain and sorrow - never to meet again.

Well penned, Patty.

Hi again, Margaret; I'm glad you enjoyed the poem. I had a great time structuring the double reversed etheree and trying to make it have meaning.

Some things are much more easily said than ever accomplished. Trying to forget someone who once rang your chimes can be as difficult to forget as that bump inside your mouth that you know you should ignore but your tongue keeps finding it time after time. I am not familiar with this type of poem, but I enjoyed it anyway.

thank you so much for stopping by to read and review. I do agree with you in your remarks - the etheree is one of those poetic forms that pops up every once in awhile on FanStory.

Patty, :)

I like this style poem. It looks like a mirror -- cool reflections. I definitely liked the first one about 'love'. Hate is harder to feel, I think.

I hope you are fine.

Hi Patty, a perfect double Etheree telling a good story of love gone wrong. Well expressed in a telling manner and very convincing in content. The two forms blend well and it all makes good sense. Well written and a good picture of a 'sinking' heart. Warm regards Dorothy x
