An amazing transition from Love found to Love lost. This was a very imaginative piece which captured my imagination; a job well done.

Nicely done
I'm sure you've narrated how it is for many and at least ONE relationship in their lives.
Both are such polar opposites so it's easy to feel completely powerless when trading one for the other as things go from great to pear shaped.
Well written
Cheers P

Hi MustangPatty1029
I like the structure of this poem which I find quite intriguing as it describes the descent from love to hate. Excellent summary of the transition. It does make me wonder however if it could go the other way i.e. hate ascending to love. Is it ever possible? i would like to know what you think and perhaps a poem about the possibility or impossibility of this reverse scenario would be apt! :) Thanks for sharing this. R

The story of far too many relationships it seems. So many people get married multiple times rather than work through the rough spots and stay together. Well done, my friend~Debbie

The two are inextricably linked in love's sweet and sour circles and both emotions are strong and raw, your poem outlines the rollercoaster ride Patty, love Dolly x

This is really very well done, Patty. Alternating the one syllable lines with love then hate makes a good pivot from the joy of the relationship into its failure. The last line is almost like a Haiku Satori - overcome, forget, and move on.

I admired your creative, mirrored Etheree and your antonyms. Your descriptions are quite vivid and the striking artwork and color presentation reinforce the emotion. Sighs- Joan

The art work is very captivating. Your words capture the new of romance. Then when things go wrong, that is sometimes the way to feel,,,to forget him and not mention his name. I think we all have been there. Very well written.

Hi,
This poem describes your story. I always write poems for my novels, too. It started like a beautiful story. It did not end well. But there is a sense of hope towards the end, as she is looking or finds love again. The scars will remain, though.
