HI Anita, I have said it so many times...that I believe everything is for a reason...but sometimes I can tell you...I can't believe there could ever be a reason...I love God so much...but don't know why He does some of the things He does...when He can stop them...sigh...very well written sweet girl..love your poem...and love your picture...love ya Linda xxoo

You Linda, when you get a bit older yet, you will understand the reason for everything, the good, the bad and the ugly. That enlightenment has recently been given to me you know, and for the first time in my life I know WHY. It's all there in my poems, my writings, my sketches, my blood, sweat and tears. Do you think His Son was the Only One to walk in the Valiey of the Shadow of Death. He does these things because He knows we will Survive and Learn and be Messengers for Him. 'Yea though I walk in the valley of the shadow of Death I shall fear no Evil....." It has been my favourite psalm since a kid and I've never known why until this day. I now can walk with the Dark Ones, and they can't 'get at me' because I am protected by God's own Light.
    Love ya' Linda.

Linda I was going to reply and glad you have. I was going to finish be telling you that I thin I know this : God never asks anyone to do more than he knows they are capable of. Eventually (underline this word) you will see. Doubting Thomas kept poking at the wound. The Answer is, There IS a purpose, the sooner you look for it and go "Oh , that's it", the sooner you can walk on. Don't sigh Linda you lovely girl, just move that mirror a little to the right :)

This speaks how the expected or possible happening is and deviating action happens when one walks with the dark ones, as generalized, there is dilapidation or destruction; I liked.

Why when knowing is doing done? Dilapidation and destruction is known to come - but also regeneration is known, how is this so?

The structure of this poem reminds me of something that you would find in the middle ages, like King Arthur or something by Chaucer. Their poems were more based on syllable count and only rhymed a few lines at certain points in the poem. I am sorry that someone hurt you. I hope, though, that it has made you stronger.

How interesting, I have no Chaucer left in my meagre library - I'll Google some, it has been nearly 50 years since I read the man. And Arthurian too!? I wonder who is the Muse who came to speak through me :) Thanks so much for reading and commenting. Thanks for your commiserations. I have been hurt a lot throughout my life. But now I'm 70 and the healing has been done. Through the Universe and Light, Love of friends and lovers too, I'm safe, I'm in Joy and I LIVE LIFE to its fullest , now that I'm through. Anita

Well, I'm glad I told you. I am actually not much of a poetry buff-I'm a student and took medieval lit last quarter. One of my favorite stories that we read was Gawain and the Green Knight (a quick note: the lines won't rhyme in a good number of poems unless you read them in Old English)
