After reading 'Lucky Day', I find that it meets the requirements of the contest and makes a good entry.
You've created quite a rhyme.
My favorite line: 'Quitting my job is the first thing I'll do!' I have cracked up over this. It would have to depend on how much I've actually won-- that is after Uncle Sam gets his share. Taxes are a real drag when you've got a lot of money.
The image shown captures the meaning of this poem. The background goes well with the picture and color of font selected.
Best of luck to you in the contest.
Thanks for sharing your version of Winning the Lottery.
Good luck with your future writing.

Thank you so much for your nice review. It would be awesome to win the lottery, but it would also be nice to win the contest.

This speaks how to celebrate the lucky day, use lottery prize money, first quit the job, next buy a car, a mansion for mother, a Ferrari and give a party for friends, and... I liked.

Dear Mystery Writer,

I enjoyed the theme of this poem - that riches are great, but the best ones are friend and family. Though I'm like you and wouldn't turn away cash if it came my way. HAHAHA!

Note: This seemed a little more like free verse than a strict 'rhyming' poem. But that's simply my opinion. The contest calls for rhyming poems and though your poem contains elements of rhyme, much of it doesn't. I think you should be ready jic the committee flags you for this one...?

Thanks and good luck!
