This was a good read, Jaybird1. You were on the front end of the fad of beards if you wrote this many years ago. Good flow and the rhythm was good as well. Nice job.

hi, nice piece of poetry. the way you wrote it is so unique considering that you mentioned that it was you few years ago. excellent presentation with well laid out stanzas. Would have asked for an image but I see it from profile. All the best.

Ah, the great dilemma of all men "to shave or not to shave"... your poem raises the issue... the answer remains an issue- I too have faced the reality of razor burn. Lobber

This made me laugh! Some love beards and some hate them! They seem to be in fashion and I find it amusing that so many young men now have long beards which I have always associated with old men. If you have shaved yours then you have just taken years off your life! A very amusing and well rhymed poem of joy, love Dolly x

I really enjoyed your humor poem "Bearded but Bewilder". You rhymed it beautifully and I smiled as I read it.
Wishing you all the best.

This is a very cute poem you have penned. It makes me think of someone I love dearly but don't really like to see him with a beard. That would be my husband. I think it may be an age thing. It don't look too bad, but different. Very cute poem. Good wording and imagery from your words. Blessings, Teri

I was going to ask if this was an account of yours past. My husband used to have a beard and I hated it so I can relate to your wife haha. I enjoyed the rhyme scheme and really liked this light and entertaining topic. it was funny to read as I thought about my husband and I'm sure many other wives will read and have a good laugh -Christina

Maybe a 'Wilderness Man' stage, ha ha. I've always liked beards, and I still prefer long hair to short on men, but, everyone's different. Nice poem! Blessings...

Facial hair brings

Pure bred Native Americans don't have any. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

Hi Jay. An enjoyable piece about men's beards and/or other facial hair. Good rhyming and flow throughout. I personally like a nice clean shave on a man, but now the "shadow" stubble is the in thing. However, I think men like to go with trends just as women do. Marilyn
