This is a very interesting take on all of pieces of our lives. I enjoyed the comparison included about all these pieces, clocks, game pieces, and paper pieces. This is so about me. LOL! I am always looking for lost pieces of my life. You are a talented writer. Hugs...Linda

Thanks for your excellent review and all your interesting comments supporting the poem. I am glad you enjoyed it and noticed all the little pieces that go into making up a life. We often overlook them, or take them for granted, or lose them in the larger patterns of living estory

To decide to contemplate the pieces in our lives as an abstract rather than delving deep into one piece is delightfully different and pleasantly rewarding for me as a reader. Cont wait to see what you deconstruct next!

Thanks for the excellent review and all your interesting comments supporting this poem. I am glad you enjoyed this little look at all the bits and pieces that make up a life. I am aiming to create an abstract expressionist experience out of fragmented images, and creating music out of repeating patterns of words and phrases in language. it is a bit different, but I like to drive into new areas of creativity. estory

I enjoyed the tangents you traveled with the theme of pieces. I related to each and every situation and I realized we all are simply trying to fit the pieces together as we live our lives.
Thank you for sharing,

Comment from Meia (MESAYERS)
The bits and pieces of conversations,
Dramatic pieces espoused out loud
Time pieces punctually telling the time,
Pieces of metal, pieces of glass,
Things broken into pieces
And all those missing pieces
We always seem to be looking for'
I love the way you have used 'pieces' as a way of constructing this work it really is marvellous and interesting well done Meia x

Thank you for your excellent review and for all your interesting comments supporting the poem. In this kind of poetry, I am trying to create music in language by using repeating patterns of words and phrases instead of meter and rhyme scheme. Trying to create an abstract expressionist experience out of fragmented images. Glad you enjoyed it estory

Expounding on the different ways to interpret pieces is most creative. It also sets off a tangent in the reader to think of other pieces. It is most thought provoking. I enjoyed all the different pieces in our lives. You did a wonderful job pointing that out. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your excellent review and for your interesting comments supporting the poem. In this kind of poetry, I am aiming for creating music in language by using repeating patterns of phrases and words instead of meter and rhyme, creating an abstract expressionist experience out of fragmented images. I don't know if its the best thing I've ever done. But sometimes I am surprised by the difference in what I regard as groundbreaking or interesting and what ends up proving popular. Thanks again estory
