I enjoy the subtle humor. The image supports the message well. The first line sets the stage for the next two. The Senryu moment is strong and appropriate. Although I think my husband would think you were writing about him. I enjoyed this very much.

This satirical sentry, In Charge of it All, has the set up right and seems to relay the somber message (though I'm probably wrong because this should make me smile) that once everyone else is gone, we can be the boss. Of course, there's no one to order around.

I detest back seat drivers lol, love the word choice, this made me chuckle so thanks for that, I wouldn't like being a judge on this one. I wish you all the best in this contest.

I enjoyed your poem, although it didn't make me laugh. It contained an off, beat sense of comedy. I found it well written and true to form. The picture added to your poem. Good luck in the contest. Great job.

This poem could have different meanings to different people, and that's what is so good about Haiku or Senryu, few words mean you use your imagination when prompted by the words, in this case it means that I am alone and in charge of my own destiny! Love Dolly x

Love this. So much truth in a few simple words. "Sitting in the driver's seat" takes on a new meaning with most porch sitters, those who are too old to drive anymore. You made me think long and hard about how old people fight to keep their car keys. I totally understand--they lose so much as they age and it all equals independence. Great poem.
