I'm sorry to hear you have not been feeling well. I went through several days of the same recently. Trying to save money by keeping the a/c off caused health problems.

I like this photo even better, as stayed up overnight & almost graded the other one...but got too tired and this photo along with your poem deserves 6 stars, and a nice one to enjoy a monkey being silly with such a happy face for us to enjoy, and a clever poem that does the photo justice.

That is such a cute picture. I like that the last and longest line of the tetractys is used to "top off" the head dress and give it the humorous flair. Other lines could be serious until then.

The monkey does look suave in his melon hat. A well-composed poem using a hard syllable count to follow. I've never heard of a Tetractys poem before, it shows that on Fanstory you learn something every day. A very funny poem with a perfect picture to accompany it. You did well to get a story out of such a short poetic form. Good luck in the contest and with your writing.

Tee helmet style reminds me of the early crash helmets. I wore one like this in 1967 when I rode in the ISDT (International Six Day Trial). The colour was similar though BRG (British Racing Green) is somewhat darker. I hope this fellow enjoyed his lunch first.
