The tale of your two pups was so sweet. The kennel sounds like a wonderful place. Dogs are so special and loving. The story clearly portrays some of reasons dogs make such an enjoyable pet for the person who understands them. It the affection and enjoyment they can provide.
The descriptive phrases for the dogs behavior are very well done. Telling the tale from the dog's viewpoint made it personal and set the tone of love and affection.
It's a very pleasing story. The opening paragraph sets up the situation well, but was a little dry. It might have been nice to have a more personal, less clinical moment added.
My dog died a few months ago, so your story reminded me of how wonderful that companionship is.

I love this, Patty. I wish I trusted the kennels around here to be so good. But I always took my dogs with me almost everywhere I went, and I couldn't leave town without them. I might have, though, with a place this nice!

Hi Marla; I am so happy I have this vet and their kennel to leave the boys with - I can actually go places without having any guilt. We probably don't do as many weekend trips or even day trips because of the boys - but we take them anywhere we can and they just love it.

A doggie suite--how wonderful. I don't know if it would impress Katie Jo however. She is really too attached to me for her own good.. I'm here all but maybe 15 hours a week, so she is very used to having me at home. When I leave, I can hear her whining and throwing a fit two blocks away. Hi Debbie; thank you so much for this wonderful review of my story about my boys. They really enjoy their time at the vet's kennel. They know all of the techs and they are terribly spoiled. They go crazy when they see me waiting for them at the counter, but I know they are well taken care of - otherwise, I don't think I would travel anywhere.

Hi there - yes, believe it or not, they have a big screen TV always turned to Animal Planet. I think the boys thought they were in heaven. When I toured the kennel, I couldn't believe it. It wasn't much more expensive than the usual daily rate, so I thought they deserved it - after all, they are earning a bit of money these days as I sell their stories in a few places,

Two happy dogs are a joy to the dog sitters or tech. For veterinarians, it is easy for them to know the kind of home the dogs come from. I could not imagine a person who treats their pet with cruelty using kennels.
