OOPs! Sorry Jax, My bad. I have changed the image as you have requested, but as I have received 4 encouraging reviews I have left the piece in just to see what will happen. I do hope you don't get held up for ransom with this. Actually it has given me an idea for some writing. It's an ill wind that blows No good. cheers Cass

I love this story! It is true that orangutans are very intelligent and you can just imagine what conversations goes on between them. Great imagination! Keep up the good work!

Dear Charmisa, Thank you for your review and the five stars. I have changed the image on this piece as the one I used was for
the "picture this" challenge which is for poetry only. OOPs my mistake. Thanks again cheers Cass

This is a clever and enjoyable take on the picture this poem, my friend. Humor is always welcome, and this is humorous, even though not a poem~Debbie

*giggle* I guess orangutans could be saying things like this to one another. It was well written and very amusing. Thank you for sharing your response to this week's 'picture this' prompt.

"Yes, Horace is his name. The keepers say he is a real gentleman, and THEY should know. In fact I have ben informed that he is the very epitome of simian chivalry."
I looked suitably impressed because she came over to the perimeter and said, with a faraway look in her soft brown eyes.
"The definition of a gentleman monkey is a monkey that doesn't monkey with another monkey's monkey. And that," she said with a note of triumph, "Is my Horace to a 'T""
I absolutely love these creatures and thought this write was adorable. So sweet and I am just crazy about animals, I long for a pet monkey but they need to live wild and free. Well done kindest regards Meia x

Dear Meia, Thank you for your review and the five stars. I have changed to image on this piece and some of the text too as Picture this is for poetry only. I knew of someone who had a pet monkey and it was a sore trial to them. It ran wild though the house, pulling curtains down, messing on blankets and beds, terrifying any cat within shrieking distance, , with teeth and claws attacking any dog large or small. It stole post from nearby letterboxes, let out a very valuable parrot from its cage on the neighbour's veranda and would sit up on the roof at night to catch pigeons when they came to roost. He finally departed this earthly life at the grand old age of 14 and the parents of his owner were never so thrilled delighted and relieved to see a "pet" laid to rest. He was buried in a specially made wooden box lined with silk and padded with sheep's wool . I was at the funeral and saw the distress of the man who owned him. The grave was among some rose bushes in the side garden with a little cross marking the place. The house is still owned by the same family so his resting place is undisturbed. Cheers Cass
