A lovely, short poem in tribute to your husband.
One can never overestimate the value of deep love and true companionship.
You have summed up your relationship with simple yet effective words, told from the heart
and penned with love : )

Oh, your hubby and your best friend has that sparkle in his eye which reminds me of the same one that mine gets when he talks to our adult daughter so very many States away. And the photo of yours doing just doing that, with him appearing to be this, a very happy occasion for him on Father's Day 2017...does benefit greatly to your Lune poem.

Thanks for sharing, Caressa_08

Hi; I greatly appreciate your time to review - was there something missing that you didn't feel it deserving of five stars?

Well, I'm new to lune writing and can't judge if it could be better, so I rated it according to what seemed right for a nonexpert!

What a beautiful way to honor your husband, especially celebrating Father's Day.
I could feel the love through your words and see it back in his eyes in the photo.
I have to say, I am blessed as well with a wonderful husband of thirty-six years so I share your feelings.

I enjoyed reading your lune poem "Best friend and Lover". You followed all the rules for this genre, and chose a nice photo of him.
Best of luck.

The lune is another form that doesn't provide much opportunity to develop your chosen subject. You certainly were able to provide hints on why he was a "best friend and lover" while meeting the requirements.
I would have enjoyed a few more hints. It would be nice to have more insight into why he is "wonderful". It's such a challenge to provide information and images when you have so few words.

Hi Ann; thank you so much for stopping by to read and review this poem. The lune is a difficult form to work with because the syllable count limits you to a few words. I'm glad you enjoyed the 'hints' that I provided.
