If nine hundred years is not long, I wonder what the seer considered long. Again, you give us a tale with an unexpected twist. Perhaps better to just to see what life brings than worry ourselves with the words of a seer.

with the words one and hundred to start and end
A solid tale with a nice little twist at the end

I think this story will appeal to a wide audience, including children. The picture certainly helps us to visualize the child Marla brought before the seer. The ending was very clever as most of us know little about the life expectancy of an "ogre."
