Congratulations on this contest win. You did a great job. It told a story and it made sense. You made every word count--all began with an 's'. Fantastic!
I like:
Seriously spiced, strong stomach surge,
Spluttering, spitting, sorely scorched,
Sudden swoop . . . soothing submerge.
A great ending.

Well, I can certainly see why this won first place. A wonderful little write about that sneaky, thiefing seagull!! I love my sausage...no mercy, ha ha. Blessings...

Now that's quite A MOUTHFUL, alliteratively speaking of course, Kazzawin, and I ain't even that seagull with a spicy sausage in his beak!
It's pretty easy to see why this ran away with the contest.
Congrats on your win.

I completely understand how you took home the winning blue ribbon in this contest. You S-word alliteration is fantastic. Very descriptive. Your action word choices make this work together well. Enjoyable to read. Memorable.

However... Edit wise, I'm not sure how to feel about you mixing past (stolen, swallowed, spiced, scorched) and present. I say play around and turn this poem completely into all present tense. It'll make great turn amazing if you want. Just a thought.

Have a great week :)

Alliterations are difficult at best but you managed to do a very good job of it while making sense of the words. Good luck with this in the contest. I wanted to try it but missed the deadline.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Really impressive! I know that 'S' words are the most abundant in English so it was really smart to use it for alliteration. But to tell the story so well and poetically is super!

This was a cute story and it made total sense when read. Very well done using the 's' and loved the part of the supper and saussage. Good luck in the contest

This alliterative poem, Seagull, sure takes the S through its paces. I know it must be tough keeping a theme going with this restrictive necessity. Nice job with this challenge.
