This is a gorgeous poem, Sandra. Wolves have such mystery about them and most of us admire them for their family structure and survival instincts, not to mention that all dogs are descended from wolves. It is a great poem and wolves are returning to the forests of the Mid-West of America...It reminds me of a white dog that looked like a wolf that befriended me when vulnerable. He walked by my side everywhere...as did my sister's dog..half wolf...
I love the story in a poem...
