Very funny Andre! I loved it! You are an amazing story teller. I love that you are going to give a humorous speech for the Toastmasters Club. A great honor. Wish I lived on the west coast and I would love to see and hear you live. You bring so much to your stories that they are a joy to read.

Well done my friend.

Blessings
Janet

Oh, thank you, Janet, for your generous, six star review. I had a lot of fun performing and sharing this story and am honored that a Toastmasters representative approached me afterwards to request my contact information. I would very much like to travel around the country and the world performing for fine people like you. I take things one step and one story at a time. Thanks.

You did such a great job here. I really believed you until I read it was make up a story. I looked back at the top to see if it was fiction. I could even see y ou screaming at the bird. Well done.
Here were my comments as I read.

One of my best freinds is afraid of bridges. I never knew why. I'm not sure she did either. Of course she was also afraid of heights, water, and being alone.

my car drifted across lanes of traffic as drivers honked and--"Hey!"--flipped me the bird (Ha, ha.)

Oh, thank you, Heidi, for your generous, six star review. I felt down the other night when my story lost the most believable lie category, so I am thrilled that the written version of my story fools people until they read the notes. Thanks again.

I moved into a RV park two months ago, and my friend says I live in a zoo. I have more creatures here. From Alligators, to large birds, turtles, squirrels, snakes, racoons, armadillos, frogs, etc... so I believe some crazy things animals do.

I laughed so much at this whimsical and interesting write. This is very, very funny. I think it is fantastic, really. Catch the pigeon...there was a cartoon about that with Dastardly and Muttley...lol...I have had to catch many a pigeon that has flown in or the cat brought in. Sadly a young one flew at my window and died instantly of a broken neck to days ago. So sad, Anyway a happy ending you caught that pigeon you could have crashed! love M:)

Yes, Meia, pigeons striking or entering moving vehicles are scary and dangerous. Thank you for your review of my fun write. I am glad you laughed much.

Well hello there, Sis Cat: You never cease to amaze me. I woke up this morning with finally a little time to check into Fan Story. I clicked in eighteen messages and there was my pleasant surprise, the first a post from, none other, Sis Cat. I smiled eager to read your genius piece, because I have learned to expect only genius form you.

I was, of course, not disappointed but thoroughly enjoyed reading this piece watching the video and then as a bonus, I watch my most favorite music video of "Am I Dreaming" by Old Skool, Xscape and Keith Sweat. This all made this post complete perfection and it is priceless.

What a beautiful start of my day. You have given me my fist smile of the day...Thank you Sis Cat and may your day be full of laughter and true happiness.

Hello Sis. We have another thing in common. I was there when that Oakland bridge and the Bay bridge fell. I was living in Lake Tahoe and my boss and best friend had 20 seconds just got over the bridge and out of that inner tunnel. He looked in his rear view mirror and saw it coming down. Our waterbed was shaking like an overflowing bath tub so we knew a fairly good size quake had just happened. Turned on the TV and walla! the bridge went down.

You are indeed the story teller as this is great use of dialog and verbal visualization. I admire your writing so much! Loved it. xoxo Kiwi

Oh, thank you, Kiwi, for your heartfelt and generous review. You should write a poem or a story about your Bay Bridge quake experience. Thank you also for your compliments of my storytelling.

Hehe fun story Andre and fun reenactment..Story telling looks a fun thing to do.
You are very animated. What are the chances of a pigeon flying into your window? that's incredible. It would have surprised the shit out of you lol
Thanks for sharing Andre

Yes, Dip, it would have scared me, too, if a pigeon had flown in through my car window. I had fun telling and sharing this story. Thank you for your review.

Ha! You told that so well that I believed it had actually happened until I read your notes. It is entirely plausible. After all, bees and wasps fly into cars, so why not a bird if a window is open? Your reactions were realistic, as were the responses by other drivers who had no idea what was happening in your car. Well done, and aptly illustrated.

Oh, thank you, WalkerMan, for your generous review and corrections. A growing number of people who saw my performance or video or read my story believe that this incident really happened to me. I constructed my story out of things that have happened. This made my story plausible and convincing. Thanks again.

You are welcome, Andre. Your use of actual events was indeed effective in constructing this story. I see the typo correction and removed the comment about it. -- Mike

Interesting accounting of what turmoil that pigeon put you through, in the story of course.

Question remains, who won the battle? You, or the feathered fiend.

At least you received recognition for all your efforts.

Oh, thank you, Brett, for your generous review. It's a wooden nickel toss up over who won the battle, but I am quite pleased with my story. Thanks again.
