Hi Dean, I'm so glad to see the hora haiku project back on track. I thought it had been all but forgotten. Wonderful haiku and I love the satori line. All the best. Ulla:))

    Thanks, Ulla.
No, it hasn't been forgotten or abandoned.
We've all spent so much time getting the Haiku Club Anthology ready for publication that it simply took a back burner for awhile.
I'm happy to say that the Haiku book IS now available for purchase on Amazon.com, and we are patiently awaiting your order, LOL.

Dean I've ordered with Robyn but I don't seem to be able to pay with my paypal account. It doesn't accept her account. They, Paypal don't understand why, but it's nothing I can do about it. I wanted 10 copies but I will now half it. I think I just have to pay the full price with amazon now. Well, so be it. The copies were meant as gifts to friends and family. And a copy for me of course. Told Robyn about it but haven't heard back from her. Don't know what is hapening.Ulla:)

Robyn is on vacation right now, Ulla.
I'm not sure for how long.
I wish there were something I could do to help you out, but I don't have that kind of authority in the club.
Just keep trying to get in touch with Robyn. That's the best thing I can recommend. ~Dean

Oh, she never told me, I have sent her messages but sort of given up as I received no answers. Thanks for coming back this quick. I'll try to send her yet another message. Thanks again, Dean.

Well, this is my first exposure to your and GBR's Haiku suite. I liked this one - and was duly impressed with your use of word lycanthropic in a Haiku. Such are the marvels of English, vs. Japanese approaches to this form.
Beautifully done, Dean - excellent presentation too.
I enjoyed the aha line as well - moonlight madness is real, as any person working with lunatics will tell you.
Rose.

Hahaha, yes, I'm very close to a lunatic myself, Rose.
In fact, I'm so close to him that you could even say he was me.
Thanks very much for digging into this Gothic romance terror tale, presented in haiku chapters.
    Much obliged!

Shere lunacy and a lovely word to go with it "lycanthropic" -- quite vulpine really. Fantastic artwork accompanying as always and effective use of monochromatic movement. A couple of spare syllables left over into the bargai. Good work.

Thanks for following along with this story presented in haiku, Jim. I realize this chapter took a very long time in coming.
We have all been working so diligently on getting the FanStory Haiku Club Anthology published and on Amazon.com that this project kind of had to be placed on the back burner for awhile.
    But we finally did it!

Enjoyed this one. Very clever wording and alliteration. I must have had a werewolf in my ancestors as I always find them to be rather sad, unfortunate creatures.

I feel the same way about them, JoAnn.
Their malady, or "affliction, if you will", is brought about through no fault of their own.
Just being in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
Both Gypsy Blue Rose and I thank you for your continued support of this project.

Oh, sounds a little like my neighborhood, Dean...being I live in walking distant to a small zoo that has wolves, and other animals...And across the street is a cemetery, and that is where I & hubby will be buried...eventually.

Once in a while the animals escape, and well, if it is one of these wolves or one of the tigers, I'm inside for the day.

Lycanthropic, new word for me, made my day...Caressa_08

Cheers, Dean;
-I can see by just reading this that you really had this well-thought-out and right down to the alliteration and especially the contextual theme which advocates an exciting and magical along with mystical interest into the unknown.
-Having your 2 lines grammatically interconnected creates an imagery that is indescribably dramatic and vividly and definitively expressive in the awareness of the animalistic behavior of humans.
-I particularly like the satori that ties the conceptual theme altogether and creates a relativity of consciousness for the conceptual theme's awareness.
-Thanks for sharing my friend and take care and have a good one.
Alex

A fantastic horror poem. The howl of the werewolves and the strange wording. Makes for an atmospheric and chilling write. I like the words- 'Luna's Allure' makes a great start to the poem. Clever use of words throughout...
