Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

It took me some time and thinking to relate madame Tussada and the bees. I was wondering what the connection could be between the wax museum and bees.
Then it struck me!
Clever title. generally we associate bees with honey only.

Yes bees and ants are the most hard working beings
very thoughtful poem. All the best for the contest.

Hi, Sanku. Thank you for your extra-special, kind review and rating. Madame Tussada's is the name of a famous wax museum in London. In this poem, it could also represent the queen bee.

A very well-written ABC poem. The bees are the most hard working insects and they produce a very tasty product for humans. The golden sweet honey is the product of their labour.

I like these ABC poems. I thought that the last line had to follow the alphabetic sequence, but I Googled it and found out different.

The queen bee is truly in charge of her workers. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. Good luck in your contest.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about, Nicole. A good solid poem, light, but meaningful and pertinent ... and one can easily tell it's done by an artist. Very good, my friend. Good luck with the contest.

Thanks, Jay, for your high compliment.
Artists tend to be vulgar and tasteless--they like bright gaudy colours. That's me.
Have you Americans heard of Madame Tussauda's Wax Model Museum in the UK?
Honestly, I think all prisoners should work.
These ones serve detention in wax cells, helping to make the world a sweeter place.

I wonder ... has anyone thought of setting a glass of heavily sweetened vodka on top of those hives?

What would be the result, drunken bees or alcoholic honey?

Maybe a very angry Queen.

You've done well with your entry in this ABC poetry contest Nicole. We have some wild bees that have made their home in and apertuture to our house... A bit worrying, but they don't bother us. Beautifully written, Nicole, a worthy qualifier, well done, blessings, Roy

Somebody told me to eat raw honey from bees in my area to help with allergies. I have been doing that for a few years now and it seems to help. I enjoyed reading your contest entry and I wish you the best of luck.

    Interesting.
    Now here's some useless information:
Did you know that honey is toxic to babies? Never give it to very young children--their organs can't cope. It can be life-threatening.
We used to keep bees. The image I used was taken on our farm.
Honey is more fattening than sugar.

Yes, I did know about the babies, but didn't know it's more fattening than sugar. I wonder why?

I think it's more concentrated and its something to do with the chemical make-up. I'm not a nutritionist, but I think it can be googled. There was a time when I replaced sugar with honey in all my food and cakes--boy did I put on weight. My son did some internet research and told me to stop doing that. Honey is a great food for hikers, etc. Packed with energy.
