Thanks of the lighthearted post. I never have seen creatures do these odd things, but I enjoyed your imagining them plus the clever , parallel illustration. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

You gotta get a life! A very amusing nonsense poem ( would make a child laugh) I liked the choice and paring of the animals......... the color of background goes well with that picture

Charming, whimsical, perfect for a child's bedtime sorry. The playful question "have you ever" is well-met by the response, "I have" with the confidence of a seasoned storyteller.

Not me.
Give me a good Stephen King novel or the latest horror fright flick and I'm in hog heaven...at least for awhile.
Cute poem, and it would seem to me that it clearly falls under the category of nonsense.
Best of luck to you in the contest.

I know Dean. You're definitely a Stephen King kind of guy. ;)
I'm more puppies and fairies myself...
    Thanks for reading.

Love the picture and I love the nonsensical poem. It made perfect sense to me, ha ha. Repeating 'I have...' works well. The poem flowed well and told a lovely story. MaggieF
