This was such a fun read that I forgot it was about the game Cluedo. I used to enjoy playing that game with my kids. You managed to conjure up a sense of despair in few words. I started thinking: Man, old Tony's feeling depressed.... Then I came to reality with a thud. Cluedo!

An astute detective would know it was Colonel Mustard
just by observing the background color.
When I played, it was always Miss Scarlet with her body,
no other weapon needed.
Now the candlestick, who but renown Detective Fawcus
could discern such an unlikely weapon
as the flame consumes the candle
no candle, no flame.
Excellent imagery of old flames, candles and murder

very clever poem. Didn't realize Cluedo is Clue so the ending was a twist for me! You did a great job personifying the candlestick. Nice use of very vivid language. I liked "drained in globs of epiglottal snot"!
