Congratulations on your win -- what an inspiring poem both for a parent and for any armed service person. The tone / voice is consistent and could be realistically voiced by a child. The word choice is appropriate for a young age and the rhyme is consistent and smooth.

A fine write from a child's point of view and this kind of job is sometime difficult for a child to understand, but your unique poem brings some clarity with humanity and kindness, love Dolly x

Thanks so much for the excellent review. Our soldiers don't get the recognition they deserve. My husband is a Veteran.

I agree with you, they are soon forgotten, yet the scars of war leave a resounding effect on soldiers for the rest of their lives x x x

This is just in time for Father's Day..

Thanks for the excellent review. Children who have military parents will understand the meaning. I am the wife of an Army Veteran.

I nice poem of praise for a dad and his contributions. From the POV of his child, we see the love and admiration for his work as a soldier, his bravery and the love he gives his family. Nice end rhyming.

Thanks for the excellent review. I really appreciate it. I write from the eyes of a Veterans wife and I know what they go through. Thanks again.

Thank you for letting us know how special and brave your dad is! He is very
lucky and surely proud to have a son like you share how proud you are of
him in such a loving message. A reminder that as a US soldier, he faces
many dangers and yet he is willing to be where he needs to be for all
our safety and especially yours and your family. I am sure you make
your dad feel proud you want to be just like him. I have no doubt
you will keep your promise.
God bless you and your dad...wherever he is....keep on loving
and being proud of him every day....
Blessings and best wishes...Ronni
