Every day is different in their own little ways. Yes it is a beautiful place but like everywhere progress will eventually change my little utopia and not all for the better.

This photo is just as lovely as the other one. I am happy that you are sharing this photographer's photos with your poetry. The whole layout helps me to imagine just how much like paradise Australia truly is. I am happy that you are so in love with where you live. Some times I just feel trapped in New York and there's nothing really to brag about here. Some may argue with me about this because there is a lot going on up here but it is nothing like Australia, that I believe with all of my might.

    Hi Tier,
It's so easy to get inspired when you see beautiful photos of the beachfront in my hometown of Cronulla.
Michael Sutton, the photographer has many beautiful shots of Cronulla beach especially in the mornings at sunrise.
I am going to post a couple more that inspired me to write about.

thanks so much for the great review

Dip, This is another very nicely written poem with a very good picture to go with it. I can see why you love it there so much. That picture is beautiful and your wording is great. Blessings, Teri

Great poem dip! It's clear you love both your country and your home town and to be honest I can't think of one thing that would break your daily habit.

Other than a bug fush wuth vury bug funs bro LOL

Stay safe on your gnarly board LOL

Okay.
My surf talk is shit LOL

P

Lovely photo btw. I love where I live too. Close by to Murray River (about 2km and hub fishes a bit and takes the our daughter Tahlia, 8) but we're not actually right on it.

There IS something about living that lifestyle of yours though, I'm sure. Sun, surf, sand...wedgies LOL

Anyway I bet it's great for the ticker.

The weather, not the wedgie haha

Everyone loves their little neck of the wood P and I'm sure everyone looks at the merits of living where they are I grew up in this beach culture from a nipper My house is only 3 mins to the beach both my kids are surfers so the beach lifestyle is firmly in our blood. but on saying that if I grew up on a beautiful country farm with a river nearby then that would be the little bit of Utopia I know and love just like you do.
This is a local photographer named Michael Sutton. He takes beautiful ocean shots of Cronulla and environs specializing in awesome sunrises as we are on the east coast as you know.

Always great to hear from you P keep me up to date how your publishing venture is going

Reads very smoothly, with natural rhymes, D. But just to show you how dysfunctional my life has been, "Having a morning surf and swim..." I soent 6 years in the US Navy, and I still can't swim!

That's fine, as long as you can float and carry a flare that's all that matters lol

thanks for your review as always

I can float, sort of. The instructor was so aggravated trying to get me to swim that he passed me for floating across the width of the pool rather than by swimming the length of it.

You are a lucky man to have the climate for that sort of thing every morning at the same time as having the sea close at hand. During my six weeks in Sri Lanka I spent a couple, E of weeks in a B&B in the south of the island and I would wander down to the beach every morning as the sun was rising for a swim. No surf there at that time of year though.

In 1977 I spent 6 weeks in Sri Lanka on the south west coast down toward Gall at a place called Hikkaduwa which had great surf it has probably changed a heap now in that time we went for trips to places like Kandi and the tea country and the famous Animal reserve on the south eastern side of the island we had a great trip. This was in December January into Feb.

thanks for reviewing and your comments as always Panty

Fabulous appreciation of your home town, it does look amaxing, a couple of suggestions for the second stanza, Second line: (The) most beautiful place on earth, last line Beauty for what it's worth. Just a little tweaking, nothing serious, but obviously the changes are up to you Dip, the photo is amazing, how lucky you are to live in such a beautiful place, love Dolly x

A very well-written poem about the beautiful sunrise each morning that comes right on time to announce a brand new day, another day to be grateful for and another chance to spend with our families.

Thank you for sharing. It does look like Heaven on Earth. I see you are #7 in the poet rankings and #24 on the top ranked review list. You have been quite busy!

Thanks so much Randal. I am somewhat surprised yet appreciative at thesame time about my ranking I have been coming here for 4 years posting two poems a night and this is the best I have ranked. which doesn't mean much in the scheme of things that could drop as quick as it came up I suppose. I try to review every one I have fanned who posts a new poem here.

Thanks for the great review Randal always appreciated.
