They actually biopsied the tumor and found it was all pre-cancerous, which was strange considering its size. So, no chemo or radiation!!
Unfortunately, I've had several complications that have landed me back in the hospital, and in danger of a third operation. Grrr.
Will know tomorrow for sure. I'll let you know!

I'm doing better right now, though I'm still in the hospital. Hopefully I can keep coherent thoughts together long enough to write.

Yes, that's what an illiostomy is. It's just temporary while the surgical site rests, thank you for your prayers and support. You're a great friend, and wonderful organizer.

My prayers are with you my friend. I know it is a hard go but when it is done, you will be better than ever before and your body will have been rested. Just don't expect to get your energy back, it may or may not come but will take time

Yeah, the energy is what frustrates me. I have to take a nap after taking a shower. lol. In fact, I nap a lot, but I don't get much done that way. Being in the hospital assures I don't have much to do anyway, but I would like to take some of this time to write. Problem is, I'm too medicated to do that well, either, so I'm going to review and answer reviews. Thanks for responding!

Thank you, Suzanne! I am on the mend, but there is still something wrong, so they are doing surgery on Friday. You know, the surgery to fix all the other surgeries. Thanks for checking on me. I might get some crazy ideas on all these pain meds. I should keep a notepad handy. haha.

I'll take the prayers and hugs! I'm still in the hospital, and have another surgery Friday, but they, hopefully, I'll get to recover and go home. To be honest, I've spent a lot of time laying around and sleeping. I walk the halls and talk to people, and guilt family members into visiting. Thanks for the review, and sorry it's taken so long to get back to you!

I saw you had something posted. I'll try and check it out later. I only get on here for limited time as it hurts to sit for very long. I ended up with two surgeries, and am facing another one on Friday. Hopefully that's it... grrr...

You just need to rest and take it easy. It's not easy. Around this time last year I was hospitalised for a couple of weeks with an unknown infection and was on a drip and oxygen for most of the time. I couldn't think or see straight.

Oh wow, well thanks for sharing. I've never been in this long before and the meds they are giving me make me loopy. It's been pretty crazy. I have trouble sometimes texting my family because it'll be all jarbled.
