We can make many comments about this poem. Should we see it as flower sellers who overestimated the demand, or a reflection of the fact that couples do not live as harmoniously as they should? You give us many ideas to consider.

Hi Gypsy, Yes I wonder how many bouquets are still waiting to be purchased. Your Haiku makes one think and good word choice. Cheers Christineð???ð???

Gypsy; this is so sad! I can see the wilted flowers waiting for a buyer who will never come. The withering blooms will soon blow away--turned to dust by time,

Making the bouquets is more of a waste.
I don't like the... something is off. There's no "aha."
And I don't see a point at all. What are you trying to say?

This work has reached the exceptional level

This is one that you have to let sink in. I love the metaphor of unbought (and ungiven) bouquets - for me it speaks to all the missed chances at saying "I love you" or doing an act of kindness - love was meant to be given to others and letting it sit on the shelf is a "waste".

Lovely poem! And, in the spirit of its message, let me say that you are a phenomenal poet, and a gift to all of us here on Fanstory!

A very well-written haiku. The day after Valentine's is the worst day ever when the leftover bouquets have to be thrown out when no one wants it until next year.

Those must be some rotten flowers if they came from Valentine's Day. Gee it's almost June. LOL. Very lovely. Sometimes I find it hard to review these short Haiku and similar poems. My review is way longer than the poem.

Flowers being the symbol of love all over the world, love the last final word, I have always said I don't won't flowers at my funeral as I won't be able to smell them. I watch men carrying bunches thinking he must have a lot to be forgiven for. Your too good at these.

Hi Gypsy,

I always look forward to reading your work. You are great at writing
short poems that are always nice to read. I should try to write smaller
ones too.
