I thought the pacing was good and the story intriguing. Sometimes I was a little confused about which characters were talking and who they were. Mildred, for example, I assume is the governess?

I will definitely read more:)

Hi, thank you for going back and reading the beginning of this book. I've sent you a PM with a synopsis of the first book in the trilogy, I hope it helps with the characters. Mildred has been around since the beginning and has her own fan club now! LOL. I've taken the book off now as I'm hoping to get it published. I'm really pleased you are enjoying it still, without having read the first book. That is so encouraging. :) Sandra xxx

I see. I asked you in another post if this book, This Time-That Time was the first in your trilogy and I understand now that it is part two. Makes more sense. Thank you.

I like the mysterious group of men at the beginning, they left me with questions right away.
And now a few years have gone by, I'm curious if Veronica had any unusual occurrences during that time?
It sounds like you're setting up another good mystery.
I'm glad Mildred is along for the ride. :-)

Hi, Sandra. I like the time-shifting aspect of this story. Often, science fiction is too much written in a mans world: lots of machinery and other guy-stuff. Your work focuses on relationships, and the practical problems that time-shifting would create. This is a work I would definitely like to buy in book form. I suppose that will take awhile, since the story seems like it will have quite a few more chapters. I look forward to the next one.

This is a perfect beginning for a wonderful fiction in the making. Already very curious to know how the story proceeds. I'm sure its going to be as engaging... Good luck to you.

I hadn't thought about telling James; I didn't think I'd need to, or that I'd be time travelling again. It just hadn't entered my mind. After Lady Ann and Peter had been brought out of the cesspit and given a Christian burial, I'd thought my work in the past was finished.

"How on earth can I do that? Can you imagine what he'll think? Oh dear, it's not as if I have any control over these things. And Ann, what of her? Will she grow up and start time travelling?" I groaned as I put my elbows on the table and rested my thudding head in my hands, massaging my forehead with my fingers. "I can't just go leaping off into other peoples' bodies and lives. I've got two young children now and a husband to look after!" '
You should not be one bit nervous you smashed this this is so interesting to read and so much enjoyed! well done I think you have nailed it Sandra and look forward with anticipation to reading more ,kindest regards Meia x

Hi, Sandra, so the root of Veronica's travelling adventures are being manipulated by "others" whoever others may be. Even Ann is traveling, although she can't separate reality from time travel...as yet. Good to see you in the writing "saddle" Sandra, well done, blessings, Roy.

Hi Sandra. I like the originality of this chapter. You draw reader into the story and we can relate to the travel back in time, because I'm sure we all wonder at times about our ancestors.
Don't be nervous, I can see no errors... ~Mel~

This reminds me of my son when he a small lad. His imaginary friend was name Bobby. I have no clue where this name came from but to him Bobby was real. Sorry to be late . Working on the book. Publisher is shouting. LOL.

I read somewhere that children's imaginary friends were actually from the spirit world and they only lose the ability to see and speak to them as they grow older. I think that's because they stop listening, and they are finding more 'real' friends. Just a thought, LOL. Thank you so much my friend for sharing your story and a big hug for the 6 stars! :) Sandy xxx

How exciting, you have a publisher and it will soon be in print. Is this the story which includes your grandmother? I loved that story and I'll be buying the book when it comes out. You must let us know when that happens. Good luck with it, my friend! xxx

Yes, Grandmother Maude begins the story for it all happened within her era and geographical area. Of course I spun it into fiction for the sake of innocence. I do hope you like the rewrite as well. I leave a jumping off place for sequel if the public desires. Thank you my precious friend for you kind support.

Hello,

I think the title is neat. I think you are doing a great job, don't be nervous :D

I really liked these sentences: A gnawing sense of foreboding engulfed me as I went over and sat on the chair next to Ann at the table."He's my bestest ever friend, Mummy, and I wanted you to help him," her chin trembled making her voice wobble (You did a great job with child lingo).
