Very interesting.
Good artwork: The image shown supports the topic discussed.
I especially like the questions you asked.
In my opinion, America was NEVER great. Therefore, how can one make it 'great again?' I don't think ONE man can fix all the problems of our nation in 4 years or 8 years. A president cannot please everyone. Either the rich will be happy while the poor is mad or the poor will be happy while the rich is mad.
Thanks for sharing.
Good luck with your future writing.

Thank you for your feedback. I guess no country is ever really great, we all have our problems. We can only try to do our best. It is true that no one can please everyone. I've heard a good negotiation is one where everyone is equally unhappy with the result.

I wish we had those people to stand up and be counted. We need a solid person to step up and be a leader but I see none on the horizon. It becomes a sad day when you have no other way to turn. I think our nation stands at a crossroads and the next year will tell. Can you tell I loved your piece!

Have a great day and God bless.

Thank you for reading and for your feedback. I am particularly unhappy with the millions of people who don't even bother to vote. We all have to become involved in what is happening and we definitely need to find better people to represent us.

Your essay on the current state of affairs echoes my own thoughts. I currently struggle to turn on the news in the morning. I just can't believe what is going on. You are so right - this is NOT normal, and it cannot become the norm.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. It is well written and expresses a cohesive train of thought. You didn't ramble or go on, you simply stated things as you see them. I didn't see any nits or SPAG,

Thank you for your feedback. I've gotten to where I wonder each day just what has our leader done this time and what new scandal is brewing. I know both of our major political parties have done dishonest, unethical, and illegal things over time. But some of those in power now seem particularly self-serving and despicable.

I totally agree. He is emotionally unstable and have deep issues, but of course, in his arrogance, he would not talk to a professional (lol).

I admit, he has a good business head and has done some things for our economy, but you cannot go through presidency insulting people left and right, ignoring tact, diplomacy and any meaning of "politically correct"

It can't continue.

Thank you for reading and for your feedback. I had never heard the term Dunning-Kruger effect before the last election. But I think of it often now. I don't know if the president is necessarily a good businessman. He has had many failures. I have no respect for someone who has no problem with refusing to pay people for work they have done though. If there are parts of his job he does not know or understand, he should be able to take advice from people who do know. He apparently is too arrogant to listen to others though. No one knows everything about all things, but he tells us he does and plows straight ahead.
