A very inspiring read about the one and only Good Shepherd we can truly trust, and we, being his sheep and your poem letting us know why He is such a good one.
Do really like the text and background and that photo of those sheep with the biblical quote, that makes your poem even more attractive.

Hi Patricia, two powerful stanzas on the duties of a good shepherd, ending with the last stanza of the Good Shepherd who looks out for us and never lets us stray.

Patricia,
I grow spiritually as I read your poetry. There is always profound truth in your words. Praise God.
I love the analogy of Jesus Christ to the warmth of a good stepherd.
Great job as usual, Patricia.
Thank you for sharing.

Yes, praise God for our Good Shepherd in Jesus. He is so patient and compassionate and He is our Way home. I like that you focus on His not "driving us" and even carries us in our weakness.

Hi Patricia,
Again you've written a very nice poem. You are wonderful at writing them.
I always look forward to read them too. I wish the words that are above the sheep would be easier to read.

A very well-written spiritual and encouraging poem. The Good Shepherd leads His sheep and they know His voice and will recognize His voice between a thousand other voices.

Amen to that, Patricia. This is a fine poem, illustrated and worded well. My favorite lines are theses:
"A good shepherd carries His sheep
when they are weak."
Thanks be to God for that.
