I understand you miss your Dad. Mine wasn't nearly as fit as yours (he was partially disabled) but we still had a deep connection and I miss him terribly.
A thoughtfully constructed poem, somewhat like the image of your Dad there who looked deep in thought at the time. I think he was sizing up a big tree that the missus wanted him to cut down LOL
Great poem, friend. Your special love is evident. I'm sure he's shining down on you from somewhere.

LOL Well I was close.
He was obviously taking in his handiwork or taking a deep breath before he set to with those bricks LOL
Publishing thingy going great thanks.
It's coming together.
I'd love some feedback on a page.
Mainly on how it's set out and whether it looks user friendly enough and uncluttered.
It's the 10 Step page.
The one YOU'LL be studying so you can get your shite togebbs

An excellent poem. Who's the hunk in the picture? It looks like Swartzanger pumping up for his next movie. Do you have and accent?

Dip, This is truly a sweet and nice poem you have penned for and about your dad. I can't understand that as my dad abused me and it was not the best relationship, but I am over that now. Very good wording and great imagery. Is that a picture of your dad? Great job my friend! Blessings, Teri

So sorry about the loss of your dad. It's great that you have the good memories. Some of us are still trying to build those memories with our dads. I know it's important, I just have to make the time. I will start calling him every Sunday. Your poem reminded me just how important this is while he is still with us. He is 84 years old and strong as an ox.
Thank you, this poem is beautiful.

What a lovely tribute to your father Mr. Dip. Mine died 29 years ago, too young, so much I never said to him. Hopefully others will read your poem, and not make the same mistake. Blessings...

Thank you, Dip, for writing your poem for those out here who have lost their fathers or those who still have a dad to love everyday. I wrote a couple of poems myself about my father after his passing.
I love the tenderness and the unconditional love which flows in your tribute. "I hold his plaque with loving care" made me recall the tender emotions I feel when I hold my father's awards. Another strong line is when you hope your memories of your father never fade away. I know this feeling exactly.
Your poem is well rhymed, deeply felt, and highly crafted.
Thank you for sharing your heart in your universal message.

Ah, Dip, I love when you write about your father. Your words always so endearing. Everyone should have a father as yours. I can't wait to read your father's day poem. Well, this one reads like one.
Thank you for sharing, my friend. Enjoy your week!

Hi dip; thank you for sharing your warm sentiments about your dad. I'm glad you have such wonderful memories. I hope my own children feel that way about their father. My own dad was gone by the time I was twelve - never to be seen or heard from again,
