I didn't know the rules about this type of poetry. It is indeed a challenge. I couldn't do it. So well done for that. I think you did well and many people can relate to the theme.
Unfortunately, many people go through deceive, betrayal. I liked there is light after darkness by the end.

Yes. Not being appreciated can hurt your heart right down to the core. Everything is better when you let all that resentment go. Finding comfort in God is always good You can't go wrong there. We all have been hurt. So, you are better when the sun comes out. This is a lovely poem of being made better through hurt. I think you are new and improved now.
