I love your Bernie and Howie stories. They are so cute. I like to write about animals and my pets, too. Animal rights is one of my passions. Nice job with this one and informative. Marilyn

Great introduction to your upcoming works. My fiancé and I LOVE animals. We are mostly dog lovers, but there is always an appreciation for ANY other animal. They are able to bring such an innocent presence to a household, regardless of the species. I look forward to hearing more on this matter - Cheers!

Thanks for this fun intro, Patty. Love the names you gave your kitties and am looking forward to reading about them. Thank God for little furry friends who sometimes understand better than humans.

Good intro, Patty. I'll look forward to hearing about all the critters that have graced your life. I'm an animal lover and have had both cats and dogs, and even raised puppies. :)

Well written, very clear and to the point. I am thinking of all the movies about pets I watched during my life. You set up the stage well and now we wait for you to deliver the stories of your little friends.

Sounds like you have your next book which you plan to write. For me, even though I was able to have a pet for fear of them tripping me, I am fond of dogs. Good luck in your new endeavor.

Hey, Patty
You've had a lot of pets. The loving attitude you have towards them is heart warming. It doesn't take them very long to become part of the family. Enjoyed.
Take care and stay safe,
Ray

First, I have to tell you that I love the picture. I had a Lhasa Apso once who (yes, 'who' rather than 'that.') looked identical to the one in the picture. She was of the mindset that she ran the house and I was there to serve her. What would we do without our fur babies?
Looking forward to reading you stories. I'm not a cat lover, but I am a sucker for dogs. I never read any of Albert Payson Terhune's works. I read James Harriot's books. He was a country vet in England, and he wrote of his vast experiences. Quite of few of his books were about dogs. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves animals.
You had to personify each of your animals -how could you not? LOL They are all so different and they do, most certainly, have their own personality. Dog lovers will understand when I say that my dogs even have their own voice and talk differently. For instance, the Lhasa I referenced before, had a lisp when she talked. It fit her personality to a tee. People who are not animal lovers will be sending the men in white coats to take me away!
I found a couple of things:
I've compiled some older postings[,] and I will add to this book of Pet Stories as often as I can. (Two independent clauses {aka 'complete sentences'} joined with a conjunction need to be separated with a comma.)
Stories of Inky, Bear, Honey, and Harley will stand side by side with Bernie and Howie tails...um, tales. (In the paragraph this sentence came from, you gave us many different names. The first sentence tells the reader the names belonged to cats. After that, it is difficult to figure out if the names belong to cats or dogs.)
During his years of writing[,] and breeding collies, he produced thirty dog-focused novels ('and breeding collies' is a parenthetical expression and needs to be set apart from the rest of the sentence with commas.)
Redbook, Saturday Evening Post, and Ladies Home Journal. (Magazine names need to be italicized.)
animals in {about} the sixth grade ('about' is abstract and vague; an unwritten rule is that writing should be specific, definite, and/or concrete to make it good, strong writing.)
Looking forward to the dog stories!
Suzanne

Yes, Patty,
I really love pet stories. Animals are such a loving and marvelous gift from out loving God and Father in the heavens. He really thought of so many ways to provide us with gifts only he could give. I especially love dogs. Your pictures are precious and I can't wait to hear more about the personalities of Bernie and Howie. It was a pleasure to be a puppy owner. I miss Julianna so much, that I shall now live through your stories of your dogs. I had to give my tiny dog, Julianna away because my lease does not allow me to have dogs or cats in my apartment but as soon as I buy a house, Oh, it's on! (lol)
