of Howie and Bernie and your pizza deliveries!

My mother loved dogs, great big ones, so much so
I feelt a little jealous as a child. Perhaps because I
was an only child.

I will talk about my very first kitten, Penny, and take you through the trail of cats with names like Leo, Simba, and Mufasa...Sounds like a who's who listing of characters from Walt Disney's, "The Lion King", Patty...

After reading many of his books, I began to write stories about my pets using his anthropomorphized style. ...I read many of Albert Payson Terhune's novels as a young boy myself, Patty. I always enjoyed his humanistic approach in portraying animals in his stories, in particular dogs.

I look forward to reading more of yours as well.

Hi Dean; yup, there was a group of kitties who all had names from the Lion King - each name actually suited their personalities.

Your one of the first people who actually knows who Albert Payson Terhune was!

I`m an avid dog lover as well as cats, I have never really been able to have one due to shift work.

Thanks for sharing an aspect of your life as well as the pets, they really do enrich our lives just by existing.

It was written well with good presentation and grammar, although I did think I noticed a small error -

I came to love stories about animals in a the sixth grade - `a` ?
