Hi Bob; I'm glad you are looking forward to my pet stories. You may recognize some of the older ones I will revive - they are from back when I was on the site before in 2010. Bernie and Howie are actually named after some characters on the TV show, "Big Bang Theory," and they are the current companions in my life. Thank you for your time to read,

Very interesting. Pets certainly enrich our lives, and they all have their personalities and stories. Your critters have some interesting names. I think I saw a movie of Lad, a Dog. Many of us at pet lovers, so they'll love hearing about the adventures of your two. They are cuties. If you can add your photographs to your stories, that will make them all the more interesting. judi

Maybe I'm weirder than most, but I have photos of all my now deceased dogs stuck in the bamboo blinds in front of my office desk. I speak to them all every day. Call me "Crazy Dog Woman."

Hi Marla; nah, you're not weird - I have a collection of 'friends now gone' on a wall of my house. I do my best to find the prettiest frames I can find for the 4 x 6 pictures I have of most of the cats and dogs that have scampered through my life. Its one of my favorite places in the house.

I, for one, enjoy your pet stories. I remember reading a book when I was just in third grade called "Pat, the seeing eye dog." I don't know why but that book as stuck with me all these years.

A very well-written story. There are always many stories to tell about our pets. Each one has their own personality. Then there are the things they do, sometimes they're funny other times they're naughty, but we still love them.

This sounds like a great idea Patty. I have had so many pets in my life I wonder if I could remember them all. Each pet always seemed to enrich my life that is all of them except Sputnik and Dollar. LOL No I won't go into that now. Maybe someday! Well done. Nancy
