Looks like fun! I have a long trail of hairy little friends behind me too, so I'll appreciate these. I do appreciate your attention to clarity and editing. It's a treat to read something so well presented.

Thank you for sharing your process in these biographical, pet stories and some of your appealing photographs. I appreciate your sharing your "furry boys" especially since I enjoy pets, but live in a condo, up 32 steps, which makes it not conducive to being a critter custodian. Cheers- Joan

Hi Joan; thank you for stopping by to read and review. I'm so glad you enjoy my stories, but sorry you can't have a pet right now. They just seem to fill up empty time,

Hello,
I didn't receive this notification, do't know why. I was going to read chapter 1, and checked the prologue, just in case.
well, looking forward to read these stories. That's what I love about your stories that are about pets, you give them a personality.
Have a great weekend.

thank you so much for reading along. I wonder why the notification didn't come through too - could be yet another system glitch.
I appreciate your kind words, and I have a bunch more stories to post,

What a lovely idea! I like the fact that you use your own photos and also the personification of animals.
I can see you have had lots of them!
Thanks for explaining about Terhune. It's the first time I hear his name.

I had a wonderful red tabby cat named Penny, Actually Penny Lane, like the song by the Beatles. I started with dogs when I was little, Rex, Lady, Poodle, Brownie, Buster, Butch, Ringo, Brandie, and doggie. I may have forgotten one. Then moved in with my first husband and it was house of cats. His mother named them, don't remember them all. He and I rescued Jack, then my mother-in-law took in a white feral we named Oliver, and Dave and I rescued Penny from the shelter. My current husband had Katie. (cat)
After the cats all past away we got Brutus, a Chihuahua mix. Love him. Then we rescued Rocky Balboa. My two babies. I love them so much.
hugs Heidi

The only thing I don't like about any of the pets we've had is when they leave us. They become a part of our family and it is so painful when they die!
I look forward to reading your stories. (Please make them happy stories!)

Hi Heidi; I will do my best to make the stories happy - I can't write about their passing or illness. I want to remember all the good times!

That will be wonderful, I love hearing and reading about other people's pets. I've just lost my darling cat, but the memories she has left us with makes the pain easier to bear. :) Sandra xx
