You have siad it all in this cute Lune poem. Love the picture of the babies. Dogs in particular seem to be capable of everlasting love and adoration.
Mind you if you want privacy in the bathroom, perhaps a cat would be better lol

Hi Freda; you know I've had cats who felt it was their job to follow me everywhere too. Sometimes I tell the boys that are really just cats in dog costumes. Bernie just wags his tail and looks at me slyly,

Dear Patty, Cute, lovable picture. I guess that you have dogs. I grew up with dogs, then I had cats when I lived on my own. I think I'll try a "lune" poem.

thank you for stopping by to read and review. Yes, I have dogs - though I had cats for most of my life. I think we all 'switch sides' at some point or another,

Puppies are like children--their time in that stage is brief and therefore the invitation to enjoy them is more urgent and more for our own joy. Your poem captures the joy of puppies.

thank you so much for reading and commenting on my little poem. Yes, dogs only get to share a portion of our lives with us, but they make it so much sweeter,

First of all, thank you for teaching me what a lune is. Next, I really like your cute puppy poem. I am guessing that those two adorable dogs are yours. Well done. They look very happy.

Hi Patty,
What a great job you've done with this little lune about your dogs. The picture is adorable and I am sure that Bernie and Howie get tons of love. Puppy love is one of the best kinds! :) Your syllables are all correct for the lune form. Thank you for sharing.

The one on the right as we look at them reminds me of a cartoon drawing of a hedgehoo that I once saw. Normally I tell people they should flush these lunes left or right to obtain the crescent shape from whiche the form gets its name, but that wouldn't work here.

Hi Jim, thank you for stopping by to read and review. I can appreciate what you said about flushing either left or right - I tried and neither one looked right.

Is that a picture of your lovely dogs, Bernie and Howie? Awww...they are adorable.
The dogs just had to say hello... well, Hello! back. Woof! :)
Your loon poem follows the simple 5-3-5 syllable requirements. The sentiment is spot on. Pets, especially dogs, are givers.

A very well-written Lune to let the dogs greet us, and give us some puppy love with their great big hearts. There love last lifelong directly from their souls.
