You were fortunate to be accepted for the trial. By the time the FDA approves something, it's too late for victims. More people die because of the FDA than are saved by it, because it takes so very long to "be sure" the new treatment is not harmful. I think anyone with a disease being tested with a new treatment should be allowed to try it, if they're terminal, that is.

Very well done. I always enjoy a write out of personal experiences. Speaks well of all the hardships one goes through when one is afflicted. We all know of someone who goes through difficult medical procedures. The writing is very well done; no "newbie" kind of basic errors.
