We owned-- or rather employed wonderful pets over the years, and there a couple of outstanding cats, and an outstanding dog, whom we miss very much, all our animals lived for about 16 years, so your dear pet was a little shortchanged. Beautifully writte, I could relate to your very touching story about Simba, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy

A used cat - what an unusual way of describing a rescued animal. Unusual, but perhaps accurate, suggesting less happy days before you found him and gave him a home. It sounds as though the bonding was a two-way experience. If the photo is of him, I can see why.
